Another winter has gone by and now its 2012!
It was a crazy warm winter that still had just enough snow that I could ski on the farm from Dec 23rd to March 8th. and ended with a "Chinook".
Lets hope that the snow comes back next year! I figure its going to be a dry summer since the ground water is low.
Anyway I still had to get away to find some sun and heat during the winter to get ideas;
Costa Rica and Honduras (again)
Next my annual trip to the cradle of modern gardening; Holland, (also my birth place). The Floriade opened April 5th and I was there.
The Floriade expo is every 10 years and is a horticultural candy store for gardeners!
We also went to a few other gardens, though it was still early in the spring, there were lots of bulbs in bloom.
So now It's Summer, and its back to work,
starting with a waterfall into a swimming pool.
